Bio

Ryan Graves is the Founder & CEO of Saltwater, his technology driven holding company. The Saltwater portfolio holds GPX, a logistics SaaS business bringing transparency to complex supply chains, Mayven Studios, a world-class software design and development firm, and Quillt Media a multi-brand content-to-commerce business.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of charity: water, Pachama Inc, and Metromile. Formerly, he served as Board Director and SVP Global Operations for Uber Technologies Inc. from founding to IPO.
Graves was the first employee, first CEO, and a member of Uber’s founding team. Ryan’s career has been a mix of business and technology roles ranging from startups such as Uber and foursquare to corporations such as General Electric and CNA Insurance. Graves currently resides on Kauai with his wife and 4 sons, and holds a BA in Economics from Miami University (OH).
Family

My wife Molly and I have four boys and live on Kauai. It is with this brood I spend most of my time and derive most of my joy. I share a bit about our crew on the gram.
Creative Projects

A large part of my being comes from creativity energy. I write songs and paint and generally just try a lot of new stuff. I’m always learning and would love to collab, reach out.

After Uber I started Saltwater, an investment & holding company supporting technology enabled businesses to scale profit and purpose. I’m lucky to work with some amazing entrepreneurs.
